Archaeology Activities

There are many local museums and galleries in West Yorkshire which offer schools educational packages to support National Curriculum learning. Many of these sessions focus on history and archaeology. A wide variety of activities are available ranging from self led trails and teacher guided programmes of work to artefact handling sessions and living history. To view the listings simply click on the links below. Museums have been grouped in local authority districts although not all museums on our listings are local authority run. Booking of activities should be done through the museums themselves, who will be able to give you further details of availability and charges.

These lists were last compiled by WYAAS in November 2006. Every effort has been made to ensure that the information is accurate and up to date.
