Bradford: The Cathedral in Tudor times

It is difficult to imagine what Bradford Cathedral (then only a parish church) must have looked like to the Tudors. Many changes have been made to the Cathedral and the close which hide the earlier lines of the church. This Victorian illustration shows what the church looked like before the new extension was built and shows the scene as it would have appeared to the Tudors.
